Branches is now offering several auxiliary types of counseling on Fridays at Branches. We built a slate of helping partners that can take specific additional needs and address them with expertise that is rooted in the word of God. Each session will be $50, which is less than traditional counseling. Call 615-904-7170 to sign up.
We are currently offering:
Financial Planning led by Larry Roby, President and CEO of Senior Financial Advisors. These sessions may be individual or in a group. You can spend 50 minutes with your own financial advisor trying to establish a budget, understand retirement, get out of debt, etc.
Healthy Choices led by Rob Nicodemus. Many of you know Rob and his passion for and understanding of healthy eating. Rob can help you develop you own plan and then find a way to stick to a better lifestyle.
Inner-Healing Prayer is a tremendous tool that we use often during Intensives at Branches. It is not counseling but it is a means of allowing the Holy Spirit to guide you to the places of hurt and wounds that you have not found on your own and then heal you there. Karen Keegan teaches Inner Healing Prayer for us at NLU and has agreed to be a regular for those who would like to experience Inner Healing Prayer on Fridays.
Along that line, Rob Nicodemus will be offering sessions on Freedom In Christ, a guided path to seeing yourself as Christ sees you. This is discipleship and mentoring. Again, this may be a single person or classes so call if you are interested.
Finally, Developing Job Skills is an offering to help people who are stuck in unfulfilling jobs, need more income, or are just trying to discover skills that might help them in their career. Cindee Roby is a qualified Microsoft Trainer. She will be available to teach you Outlook, Access, or Excel. This is an amazing opportunity to better yourself with training.
