Debi Russell is the Groups Coordinator at Branches Recovery Center. She has done an amazing job of organizing, scheduling, researching and writing the curriculum for each group. In her wisdom, she decided to find out what groups were offered in our community and what groups were not. Branches will offer a Codependency Group and a Depression Group each semester. In addition to these staple groups, we will incorporate other groups throughout the year. You will find that the Groups offered at Branches are unique and more than just support; they are designed and led by licensed counselors. What more can you ask for in a group than a trained professional leading the way?

The With Hope in Mind course provides the basic education and skill training needed to cope with the difficulties associated with caring for adult relatives who are mental health consumers. With Hope in Mind offers helpful skill-building classes, such as problem management, communication and crisis planning, and provides care givers with immediate coping skills for dealing with the different cycles of each illness. It also provides the practical and emotional support needed by care providers in the mental health system. This group is for any adult family member of someone struggling with mental illness.
